Teenagers often find high school to be an immensely challenging period in their lives. Nancy and her 15-year-old daughter, Amy Tucker, resided in a peaceful suburb located in San Diego, California. Nancy, at the age of 39, was a single mom, a role she found herself in when Amy was only a tiny tot.
