Greg Allen, father of four-year-old Sabrina, believed that the most intense struggle he would ever encounter was a challenging custody battle against his former wife. That was until the day his little girl disappeared, altering his life completely. Although he spent ten years engaged in a global search for his lost daughter, to his surprise, the truth came from a place much closer to home than he had anticipated.

Ordinary Family

In the late 1990s, Greg Allen seemed to be living life like anyone else. As an esteemed research engineer at the University of Texas, located in Austin, he was considered as one of the best in his profession. He seemed to be on a successful track with everything in his life moving in the right direction.

Family was the missing puzzle piece for Greg, and Dara Llorens was the key to fitting it in. Their marriage marked the beginning of their beautiful love tale. Yet, the course of their story was about to shift, not for the better.

Two Become Three

Greg and Dara welcomed their beloved daughter Sabrina into their lives on May 30, 1997. Shifting from being a duo to a trio, they felt their family had been made whole. Their adorable, blonde-haired little girl was nothing short of a divine gift to them, fulfilling all their dreams of parenthood.

But it wasn’t all like a dream come true. As is the case with many other families, raising a child while managing full-time work and a married life was a steep hill to climb. When Sabrina grew up to be three, that’s when things began to take a turn for the worse.

Tensions Rising

No family is immune to problems, but the Allen family had more than their fair share. Both Greg and Dara had their lives turned upside down as they navigated a complex and stressful divorce. With the divorce behind them, they faced yet another daunting issue. They needed to figure out who would get custody of their little daughter, Sabrina. The question loomed large in their minds: how were they going to share their time with the child they both loved so much? It was a lot to figure out, especially given the emotional toll the divorce had already taken on them.

The judge looked closely at every aspect of Greg and Dara’s lives—everything that could influence Sabrina’s future. This decision was about to shake up the routine for the Allen family.

Court Verdict

The judge decided that Greg was the one who should have take care of his little girl all by himself. This decision made Dara so angry that she could barely control herself. But instead of challenging the judge’s decision, she silently started to plan something far bigger, something that neither Greg nor their innocent daughter ever suspected.

As the separation process continued, the Child Protection Service, also known as CPS, didn’t forget about regular check-ins. With each visit, they noted more concern in the situation updates. It became clear that Dara was attempting to cloud her daughter’s thoughts by crafting false claims against Greg. But when Sabrina mentioned something about “Greg hitting her mom,” they knew they had to step in and react.
