34 ‘Gilmore Girls’ Interview Moments That Take Us Back to Stars Hollow
We all have that one TV show that we just can’t get enough of. For a whole lot of people, their go-to “feelgood” show is Gilmore Girls. Filled to the brim with funny exchanges between a mother and her daughter, tender moments of love and almost every episode features a unique celebration happening in the quirky town of Stars Hollow.
Even after its comeback for the last season in 2016, we still can’t get enough of this amazing show. Those chat moments with the crew of Gilmore Girls make us realize how much we cherish these performers.
Secret Baby Daddy
It’s pretty clear that the masterminds behind “Gilmore Girls” thoroughly understood the deep connection fans had with the lives of the Gilmores. It almost feels unfair that they would revive the show after a lengthy gap of nine years, only to leave devoted viewers hanging with a massive cliffhanger, and with no signs of an explanation or resolution on the horizon.
Seemingly, Matt Czuchry is sitting on a well-guarded secret concerning who Rory’s baby’s father could be. Interestingly, he’s not revealing this mystery to anyone, ever. Even Milo Ventimiglia, despite his character’s involvement, is in the unknown. However, he’s pretty certain that his character wasn’t the father. But we’re still not entirely convinced by his assertion.
Ladies in Showbiz
Every TV show brings a need for those wise older characters who sweetly call people “sugar”. It’s perfectly clear why Miss Patty and Babette, the care-taking and sharp-tongued older ladies of Stars Hollow, were among the favorite side characters of Alexis Bledel on “Gilmore Girls”.
Off-screen, these lovely ladies had a tight-knit friendship just as they did on their sitcom. Their spark lit up every scene they were part of, and we can easily imagine their bright energy also lit up every corner of the set.
First Love
It’s said your first love sticks with you forever, and that was certainly true for Jess and Rory. Rory had Dean as her first boyfriend, but it was Jess who introduced her to the fiery excitement of real love.
In their relationship, things weren’t always smooth, but their feelings for each other were very real and powerful. As shared by Milo Ventimiglia, even though the different directions life takes them might separate them, the bond they once had will always be there.
Daddy Gilmore
Lorelai Gilmore was known for having a big personality which was hugely influenced by her folks, who were very much into tradition and the upper-class lifestyle. Lorelai had a sort of love-hate relationship with her mother but, on the other hand, held a very sweet and tender bond with her dad, Richard Gilmore, that was quite different.
In the nine-year gap between the original seven seasons and the final season, actor Ed Herrmann sadly departed this life. His absence was deeply felt by all of his colleagues on the set and surely by every devoted fan watching from home as well. The charm and appeal he brought to the show were missed by everyone.
