There Was a Back to the Future Reunion 40 Years After the Movie
A sweet reunion of the Back to the Future cast was captured by Lea Thompson, who played Lorraine Baines McFly, the mother of Marty, who was played by Michael J Fox. Christopher Lloyd and Tom Wilson were also present in the image. Lloyd played Dr. Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown, and Wilson played the bully Biff Tannen.
Back to the Future Cast Reunion
Since the Back to the Future trilogy started in 1985, Fox, Thompson, and Wilson have matured significantly. However, Lloyd has remained almost identical to the character that fans adored, despite the passing of three decades. Thompson shared a post with the caption that said she had a fantastic time that day with her Back to the Future family.
Thompson documented various moments from the day on her social media accounts. In one instance, she captured Lloyd on camera and playfully teased him. The short clip showed Lloyd responding with a grin. Additionally, Thompson posted a video of herself cuddling with Wilson, who she referred to as her favorite guy ever.
Fans Adored the Actors
The heartwarming photos shared by the actors garnered positive reactions from fans, with many expressing their gratitude for bringing the beloved movie classics to life. Some fans even left comments stating that the pictures made their hearts burst with joy. In a humorous remark, one fan pointed out that Biff didn’t look like the older version of himself from the future in the photos. This reunion was not the first time that Fox and Lloyd had caught up, as they had previously met at another fan convention in October. During that event, Fox entertained the crowd by performing an air guitar version of Marty McFly’s famous “Johnny B. Goode” scene from the movie.
Following Lloyd’s arrival, the two actors shared an embrace before sitting down on the couch to answer questions from their adoring fans. The reunion was an emotional moment for many, who were moved to tears at the sight of the stars from the beloved 1985 sci-fi film together again.
